A two-storey great room is unforgiving: undersized furniture and small TV consoles simply disappear in it. The projects we build in Vaughan are our largest — full-height panels, wide fireplace ribbons, integrated LED coves and storage benches that run the width of the wall. Because everything is fabricated off-site in finished sections, even a very tall wall goes up in a couple of days, and the seams land exactly where the design says they should.

We solve it with vertical elements that carry the eye upward: full-height fluted panelling above the media section, a fireplace set at seated eye level rather than centred on the wall, and lighting that stops the upper portion from reading as empty drywall. On walls this size the build is delivered and assembled in sections — the pieces have to fit through your front door, which is the constraint most people do not think about until install day.
