Where they work

One material, many rooms

Behind the TV

The most popular use — a fluted backdrop turns a plain TV wall into a designed media wall — one of the media wall projects we build most, with wiring hidden behind the panels.

Bedroom feature walls

A headboard wall in warm walnut or soft grey ribs adds depth and texture no paint colour can match.

Dining & entry walls

Vertical ribs draw the eye and make low ceilings feel taller — ideal for dining rooms, hallways and condo entries.

Home offices

A fluted backdrop looks sharp on camera and the ribbed surface softens echo on calls.

Commercial spaces

Reception walls, restaurants and retail — durable WPC shrugs off scuffs that would destroy painted drywall.

With LED lighting

Integrated LED coves between or above panels give the wall depth at night — planned and wired during the install, not taped on after.
Why professional install

The boards are easy to buy. The wall is hard to get right.

Search for fluted panels in Toronto and you'll find plenty of places to buy boards — and almost nobody who will design and install the finished wall. That gap is where most DIY projects go wrong. The panels themselves are the easy part; the finished look depends on everything around them:

  • Scribing to real walls. Toronto houses rarely have flat walls or square ceilings. We scribe edge panels so the ribs run dead vertical even when the wall isn't.
  • Corners and terminations. Outside corners, window returns and where the panel field ends — these details separate a designed wall from a cladding job.
  • Outlets, switches and vents. Precise cutouts, not caulked-over gaps.
  • What's behind the wall. TV mounting blocking, hidden conduit for power and HDMI, and LED wiring all have to go in before the first panel does.

Because we fabricate and prep at our North York workshop, the on-site install is typically done in a day — clean, quiet and vacuumed before we leave.

Materials

Genuine Swan Canada WPC — and real samples first

We install Swan Canada fluted panels — wood-plastic composite in more than 40 colours, from deep walnuts and oaks to greys, black ash and painted tones. WPC is dense, moisture-resistant and colour-stable: it works in kitchens and basements where MDF would swell, and it never needs repainting. For acoustic slat looks we use the WOODca LB-5014 profile, and full media walls combine panels with WOODca Design cabinetry finishes — Soft Touch, Supramat, High Gloss.

Colours on a screen are a guess. We bring physical samples to your free measurement — or visit our North York workshop at 1101 Finch Ave W and compare the full range in person.

FAQ

Fluted panel questions, answered straight

How much do fluted wall panels cost installed in Toronto?

Supply-and-install fluted feature walls start from $1,200, and the final price depends on wall size, panel colour, corner and edge details, and extras like integrated LED lighting. After a free on-site measurement you get a clear itemized quote — and every install is backed by our written warranty.

What is the difference between WPC fluted panels and MDF slat panels?

Swan Canada fluted panels are WPC (wood-plastic composite): the ribbed texture runs through a dense, moisture-resistant board, so they handle kitchens, basements and busy family walls better than veneer-faced MDF slat boards, and they never need repainting. MDF slat panels can look beautiful too — we help you compare real samples of both before you choose.

Can fluted panels be installed around outlets, vents and corners?

Yes — this is exactly where professional installation earns its keep. We cut precise openings for outlets and vents, mitre or trim corners cleanly, and scribe panels to uneven walls and ceilings so the ribs stay perfectly vertical across the whole wall. DIY kits tend to fail at these details.
