Half our Pickering projects are new builds where nothing exists yet; the other half are 20-year-old family rooms getting a second life. The process handles both: free on-site measurement, a design sized to your wall and ceiling, then off-site fabrication in WOODca Design panels and Swan Canada fluted panels at our North York workshop. On-site, you get one to two days of clean install and a written warranty at handover.
If your home is in Seaton, timing is the one thing worth getting right. Seaton is among the largest new communities in the GTA, which means a lot of Pickering living rooms are brand-new drywall with nothing on them yet. The best moment to plan a media wall is before the furniture arrives: on a bare wall we can set the TV height, the mounting blocking and the power exactly where they belong, rather than retrofitting around a room that’s already lived-in.
That doesn’t mean rushing. A measurement early in the move gives us a design sized to the wall and ceiling you’ll actually have, and the build happens off-site at our North York workshop while you settle in — then a day or two of clean install once you’re ready. One thing to expect this far into Durham: we schedule our trips east in batches, so a first visit to Pickering can be a few days out rather than same-week. That wait is only at the front of the project — once the wall is built in the shop, the time we spend in your home is no different from anywhere else.
