Kleinburg, Patterson, Vellore Village, Maple and the newer phases of Woodbridge all share the same builder specification. The room is the right size; the fit-out wastes it. A single rail at one height means long dresses and folded shirts get the same real estate. There are no drawers, so a dresser ends up in the middle of the floor, blocking the very space that made the room worth having.

We rebuild these with mixed hanging heights, a drawer bank that replaces the dresser entirely, dedicated shoe shelving, and glass-front sections for the pieces you want to see. Lighting moves into the shelving rather than staying overhead, which is the single change most clients notice first — an overhead bulb puts everything you are looking at in your own shadow.

Vaughan’s newer homes have height. Primary bedrooms and closets frequently run ten feet or more to the ceiling, and the top three feet are almost always wasted. We build to the ceiling with seasonal storage above the daily-use zone — the space is already yours, it is only a matter of reaching it.

One practical note that catches people out: on large builds, the sections have to fit through your front door and up your stairs. We plan the break points at design stage rather than discovering them on install day. It is the kind of detail that does not appear on a quote and matters enormously on the morning of the install.
