In a City Centre condo the challenge is logistics: board approvals, work-hour windows, and a feature wall that has to respect concrete you can't cut into. In a Lorne Park detached it's scale and continuity with the rest of the main floor. The same off-site build process answers both — condo walls mount onto the existing surface without structural surprises, and larger house walls arrive as finished sections that keep the on-site schedule short either way.
The tower cluster around Square One is one of the densest condo markets in the country, and every building has its own install rulebook. Service elevator bookings, certificates of insurance, permitted working hours, loading dock windows — we handle the paperwork before the truck leaves North York.
The design constraints are just as real. Concrete shear walls cannot be drilled, so wall units are built floor-supported with a concealed top restraint. Suite depth is tight, which is why we build shallower cabinets with recessed venting rather than the standard 400 millimetre carcass that would eat your walking space. And because everything arrives through one elevator, the build is sectioned to fit — a detail worth getting right before install day rather than during it.
