This policy explains how ARV HOME ("we") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit arvhome.ca or contact us about a project. We follow the principles of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, phone number, city or postal code, project type and, if you choose, your email, timeline, budget range, project description and photos.
Information about how you found us: the page you landed on, the referring website and campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source or a click ID from an ad).
Usage information collected by analytics and advertising tools, described below.

How we use it

To contact you about your project, arrange a site visit and prepare an estimate.
To understand which pages, ads and campaigns bring in project inquiries, so we can improve our website and advertising.
To keep records of our work with you, as required for running our business.

We do not sell your personal information.

Analytics and advertising tools

We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. They use cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and the results of our ads. We do not send your name, phone number, email or address to these tools from our website. You can limit this tracking with your browser settings or ad-blocking tools, and through Google’s opt-out page and your Meta ad preferences.

We also store a first-party cookie (arv_attr) for up to 90 days that remembers how you first reached our website, so we can tell which campaign led to an inquiry.

Who can see your information

Your inquiry is stored securely and can be seen only by ARV HOME staff who handle your project.
If your project needs licensed trades (for example plumbing or electrical), we share only what they need to do the work.
Our service providers (website hosting and email) process information on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or longer if we carry out work for you and records are needed for warranty, tax or legal reasons.
